45RPM audiophile vinyl
limited edition
liquid mako –– transparent seafoam green vinyl
monti, the artist also known as Chester Watson, has emerged as one of the most notable voices of the underground. one-winged angel marks monti’s debut to the world and is self-released via his label, Daydream Vanguard. This album details the transition and explains the relative radio silence–and time away from vocal LPs–from the artist since A Japanese Horror Film (2020) and fish don’t climb trees (2023). Peace and chaos oscillate and find harmony as the storyteller and philosopher soul-searches. Psychedelic and bass-heavy, this album expands on and modernizes the murky and hazy sonic palette that monti built as Chester Watson, while simultaneously diving deeper into the esoteric and the occult through surrealist writing through extrospection and introspection, blending reality with monti’s world-building nature.
